Our wedding desintation is Roche Harbor Resort located in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, Washington. Regardless of if you are flying into Seattle or loacted in Washington, you will need to take a ferry to get to the island. Anacortes is going to be your desintation before getting to the island. It is about an hour and a half from Sea-Tac, and one hour from Paine Field airport. Once you get to the Anacortes Ferry Terminal, you'll purchase a round-trip ticket to Friday Harbor, which is the only ferry terminal on San Juan Island. You may rent a car and drive to the Anacortes Ferry terminal, where you can then drive onto the Ferry after purchasing tickets. Additionally, you can uber, taxi, take the Bellair Shuttle, or take the Island Airporter shuttle. Both shuttles take you from Sea-Tac to Anacortes Ferry terminal, and Island Airporter Shuttle will drive you onto the ferry, it is included in their fee. Once you get to the Anacortes Ferry Terminal, you'll purchase a round-trip ticket to Friday Harbor, which is the only ferry terminal on San Juan Island. If you are driving, or rented a car, you may drive your car onto the ferry. Otherwise, you can walk on. Be sure to check the ferry schedule to find out what options you have for the trip over to the island. Also, keep in mind that you don't want to miss the boat so be sure to make reservations and show up about 60 minutes prior to the scheduled ferry departure time.
