What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the ceremony by 4:40 pm at the latest. The ceremony will start promptly at 5 pm.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones; however, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-only event with the exception of family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation includes a plus-one, they'll be listed on your RSVP. We wish we could invite everyone!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We are requesting formal dress code for the evening. For men, this means suits, or button-down shirts and dress pants. For women, floor-length gowns, elegant cocktail dresses, or dressy jumpsuits are appropriate. We encourage everyone to dress to impress while keeping in mind the venue's vibe and weather. If you're unsure-- it's always better to be slightly overdressed than underdressed. Wear whatever color you like, but please no white. (Please note that bridesmaids will be wearing light blue).

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Outdoor! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be outdoor. The ceremony is on astroturf, and cocktail hour is on grass, so please be cautious wearing heels.

Can I park overnight?

Answer

No, overnight parking is not allowed. We understand the importance of ensuring everyone gets home safely. We will provide a shuttle for those staying at the ??????, as well as plenty of ubers and lyfts in the greater Charleston area.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", so we can plan accordingly.

Please RSVP by September 20. This will help us finalize all the details and ensure everyone has an amazing experience on our special day. We kindly ask that you respond by this date so we can plan accordingly.

What airport should I fly into?

The closest airport is the Charleston International Airport, located about 15 minutes from the venue.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

We are not doing an official room block, but Charleston has so many wonderful places to stay! From boutique hotels to charming inns and plenty of Airbnbs, you’ll have lots of great options. We recommend booking early to secure the best locations and rates. Let us know if you need any suggestions!

Typically, it's cool and breezy in November, dress accordingly and check the forecast closer to the day.

We’ll be serving delicious barbecue hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a barbecue-style dinner. There will also be plenty of fresh vegetables and salads available for our vegan and vegetarian friends!
