We want to extend a big THANK YOU to all our family and friends traveling out to join us for our special day in the PNW! We are beyond grateful to share in the love and celebration with you. Hood River holds a special place in our hearts as it's right within the Columbia River Gorge where we call home. We can't wait for you all to experience all the nature and beauty it holds. The wedding and reception will be held at The Ruins, which is in a whimsical little corner of downtown Hood River close to many accommodations within walking distance. The Ruins is about a 1-hour drive from the Portland airport so a car rental is recommended for those arriving from out of town. We want to do our best to make your travel and planning as smooth as possible and to help you feel right at home. We've created a list of places to stay in the Hood River area along with transportation recommendations for you to reference anytime. Transportation to and from Hood River

For those traveling from out-of-state, Hood River is located around 1 hour from Portland International Airport, so renting a car or carpooling is recommended for getting to and from the venue. Lyft and Uber may be able to take you to Hood River from the airport or surrounding area, however, they do not operate within Hood River. There is an EV taxi service within Hood River and more details can be found below.

Important Note on Accommodations

There are several great hotels in the Hood River area. However, since June can be busy, some hotels may not open up rooms for booking far in advance. Rooms often open closer to the date, and booking around four months ahead is typically ideal. You may also consider Airbnbs and VRBOs as alternatives.
