FAQs - COVID Precautions

We are very excited to celebrate our wedding day with family and friends! While our wedding will not look exactly how we originally planned, we are very fortunate that we are still able to host a celebration during these unprecedented times. We are taking many precautions in order to host as safe of an event as possible, but we know there are still risks involved. Hopefully, this page will help to answer some of your questions!
Question

Do I need to get tested for COVID-19 before coming to the wedding?

Answer

We are not requiring tests before coming to the wedding. However, if you are able to get tested before traveling, we do strongly encourage you to do so. If you are not feeling well, we ask that you do not travel to the wedding.

Question

What precautions are being taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19 at the ceremony?

Answer

- Masks will be required. We suggest you bring your own but will have extras on-site if needed. - A limited portion of our guests will join us at St. John's Church while another portion will watch a live stream of the mass from the Embassy Suites ballroom or another location of their choosing. - Hand sanitizer stations will be available at both locations. Individual hand sanitizer bottles will also be provided at each pew at St. John's. - Seats at St. John's will be assigned by household or "bubble." - At Embassy Suites chairs will be spaced out in groups of 2 to 4. If your group is larger than 4, chairs can be moved but we encourage you to stay within your household or "bubble" as much as possible.

Question

If I am unable to make the trip to Omaha or will not be attending the ceremony on site at St. John's, is there a live stream available?

Answer

Yes! A live stream will be available on the St. John's YouTube page which can be found using the link below. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6LWjr-vVT_qTBas9rtL_xw/videos
