They say love finds you when you're not looking, that it will happen when you least expect it. Anyone whose ever said that is right because we didn't expect to find each other at 21. Rae and I met while out with friends one night. Over the next couple of weeks we seen a lot more of each other while we were out and became good friends. We started hanging out every single night together after work and got to know each other better. One night driving back from Santa Cruz we both admitted we liked each other and decided to see where this could go. We dated one month before we made it official. We still remember our first date like yesterday and how easy it was to just be ourselves. We have been inseparable since. This April the 25th, 2021 will be 11 years we have been together. We never thought at 21 we would be finding our soul mate, but we are so lucky we did.

The beach is such a relaxing, beautiful place. Capitola holds a special place in our hearts because that's where we took our maternity shoot when we were pregnant with Noah. We decided to go one cloudy winter day just to walk around, eat and watch the waves for awhile before it started to rain. Once we got there we ate and decided it was time to go let Noah enjoy the sand. As we started walking under the pier Rae stopped and proposed while I held Noah in my arms. We didn't know it at the time, but I was pregnant with Nathan so both our sons got to share that moment with us. It started sprinkling a few minutes later, which we took as a sign of good luck. God's timing for us couldn't have been more perfect.
