Plenty of activities to do in downtown, such as visiting different museums and convention center, catching a basketball game at Footprint Center, or hopping on various bar, coffee shops and restaurants in downtown. Our favorite restaurants in downtown are Taco Boys, Harumi Sushi, Matt's Big Breakfast, Hot Daisy Pizza, and Cornish Pasty. Our favorite lounges around downtown area are Trophy Room, Little Rituals, and Highball.
Just minutes from downtown Phoenix, Papago Park offers exceptional hiking and a wide array of recreational facilities. You could visit Hole in the Rock for a magnificent sunset and downtown Phoenix view, or Desert Botanical Garden to explore the desert plants nestled amid the Sonoran desert.
Great family-friendly activities. We had a blast at both the aquarium and the Butterfly wonderland, and definitely would recommend it to anyone!
Scottsdale Fashion Square is the largest indoor shopping mall in the state! You could find plenty of stores to shop and great restaurants to dine!

Only 1.5 hour from Phoenix, Sedona is a great city to visit for the red-rock buttes, steep canyon, and pine forests. Take the SR 89A up for Flagstaff for a breathtaking scenic view of Arizona. Don't forget to visit Tlaquepaque Village, which is fashioned after a Mexican Village.
Majority of people thinks of AZ as all deserty-and-dry state; however, that is not entirely true. Only 2-hour drive from Phoenix, you can visit one of the snowiest city in the US, Flagstaff. If you enjoy skiing and snowboarding, don't forget to visit Arizona Snowbowl!
During January, Grand Canyon might have snow in the canyon. It is definitely worthy to check out Grand Canyon covered in white! You could drive up to the South Rim or catch a train from Flagstaff.
