Ann and Dave went to South Lyon High School together and met in the early 80's while on the track and field team. While they never formally dated, there were several incidents of smooching: notably behind a tree at Joanna Harris' house, at Richard Phillips' pool, and famously getting stuck in the mud at a Russ Fischer party. Years later, Dave asked Ann on a very romantic date to Service Merchandise to help him buy a watch. Later still, a dinner date with home-cooked lemon pepper chicken - no sides! Then, in 1994, Dave pleaded with Ann to give him yet another chance and attend Steve and Kim Manasco's wedding together. That first date lasted 9 months, a six month engagement followed, and married on July 6, 1996.

After a honeymoon in Boston and Cape Cod, we came back home to our first house in Livonia and back to work. On January 1st, 1999, Audrey joined our family, born a little early because her mother spent New Year's Eve dancing all night despite being 38 weeks pregnant, shocking, we all know! After a move to Whitmore Lake, where we would spend the next 20 years, Brooke joined us on March 18th, 2002. In 2019, we moved to Silver Lake and watched both girls graduate from college and meet wonderful young men to start their own stories with. In those 20 years, 5 corgis were a part of our family and now a Moose!

Dave retired after 34 years in the auto industry and is experimenting with part-time employment while doing home projects and the occasional round of golf. Ann is busy with wedding planning for Audrey this coming September and Brooke's constant adventures. Who knows what the future holds, but we're gonna do it together for another 30!
