Question

What about COVID?

Answer

If you are sick, you have been around anyone diagnosed with COVID-19, or you are too nervous to physically attend our wedding, please know we completely understand. Instead, please join us via our facebook live ceremony! We will post the link here the week of our wedding. Guests who are attending, please bring a mask and wear it while interacting with others. If you do not have a mask, we will have some for you to wear!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:30, so please arrive early to give yourself time to park, find a seat, say hello to some friends, and enjoy the scenery!

Question

Is any part of the wedding taking place outside?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will be outside. As you know, Georgia in July is hot so please be mindful. If heat is a concern, please reach out to us! The Thai Watering Ceremony and Reception will be inside.

Question

What is the Thai Watering Ceremony?

Answer

According to Thai tradition, the watering ceremony signifies the couple to officially be husband and wife (obviously today we have many other ways to signify this such as a marriage license!). During the ceremony, the bride and groom will kneel together connected by string that signifies their spiritual union. They will clasp their palms together in a prayer like fashion (in Thai this is called "wai") while guests who are older than the bride and groom pour water over their hands as a form of blessings. **Please note that all guests are able to observe this ceremony but only those who are older than the bride and groom can participate! Thanks!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please comment on your RSVP what your food allergy is and we would be happy to accommodate you!
