We reconnected at a friend's memorial service. It was the beginning of new things to come. An old friendship rekindled. Our conversation was good, it seemed no time had passed between us. It was a familiar face and connection with an old friend. While at the memorial I received a call that my mom was going to the hospital, after tests were run on her, she was released to go home. Tony and I picked her up from the hospital. On the way home from the hospital my mom asked Tony if he was enjoying himself. He smiled and replied yes. He stated that he would be coming back for her daughter. Tony went back home, but we stayed connected on the phone. The informal proposal came first over the phone, he said "I don't want to shack up with you, I want to marry you. He said "you should have a date when you want to get married by the first of January." Going through my mind I thought this is awfully fast. I didn't really give much thought to it. But as we kept talking and talking on the phone I knew he was serious. I visited him twice and felt very comfortable and at home. He introduced me to his family and several of his friends, we just hit it off. He brought up the subject of marriage again and I accepted. On Christmas day we formally made the announcement to family and friends.

Accept me for who I am. Love me for what I am. Convince me when I am in doubt. Give me hope when I seem without. Respect me, show me you care. Stand by me, always be there. Forgive me if I should do wrong. Caress me when nights seem so long. Assure me, calm my fears. Be loyal and trustworthy forever. Trust me as I trust you. Encourage me as I encourage you. Accept me for who I am. Love me for what I am.

Ann's favorite color is purple. She loves seafood. Favorite flower is a Rose She loves crafting. Football Teams are the 49ers and L.A. Rams. Anthony's favorite color is blue. Favorite food is meat loaf, potatoes, greens and hot water cornbread. He loves cooking and hanging with his friends. Favorite football team is the Dallas Cowboys. Plays Domino's and chess.

Tony says that Ann makes him feel happy when he sees a smile on her face. Ann says Tony makes her feel special and loved.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Bridal Luncheon on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Friday's restaurant in Ontario, California. Anthony and I both are very appreciative for all the greetings and outpouring of love we received. We are a step closer to our wedding day and each of you played an important role by attending. For those of you who were not able to make it, but sent your well wishes thank you as well. May you continue find good health, peace and many blessings.
