Flight
The Seattle/Tacoma international airport will be the best option for the wedding. We recommend renting a car or figuring out ground transportation with other guests since the venue is 56 miles from Seatac.
Travel Note
The hotel really depends on what you want to see in the area. If you have never been to Seattle it is worth a visit and you may want to stay closer to this metro area. If you want to be closer to the venue, but also see some great parks and visit some breweries Tacoma is a good option. If you are just here for the ceremony then Olympia would be the best choice. Seattle neighborhoods to consider: Queen Anne, Wallingford/Fremont, Beacon Hill, Pioneer Square/Downtown/Belltown have the sites but may feel sketchy at night. Tacoma neighborhoods: North Tacoma/Ruston are closest to Point Defiance Park, Proctor has cute boutiques and restaurants, Stadium District (Stadium HS from 10 things I hate About You), Old Town has classic PNW architecture, 6th Avenue has record shops, restaurants and bars Tumwater is the closest city to the wedding venue and south of Olympia Mount Rainier National Park (Nisqually Entrance) 53 miles from Tacoma Olympic National Park (Visitor Center Port Angeles) 110 miles from Tacoma
