FAQs

Question

Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to avoid?

Answer

Please avoid wearing green, gold or white.

Question

What's the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Our dress code is formal although we encourage everyone to feel their best in whatever they wear.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony will be held indoors at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. The cocktail hour and reception will also be held indoors with outside patio seating available at Watermill Caterers.

Question

What's the best airport to use?

Answer

Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) is the closed and probably cheapest to the area. We also recommend John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) as they will have more flight options.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Question

Could you give me a link to your wedding registry?

Answer

You can find our complete wedding registry here on our website (and purchase directly from our wish list) under the "Registry" tab.

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at Our Lady or Lourdes Church at least 3o minutes prior to the start of the ceremony to allow for time to chat and find seats before the start of the presession.

Question

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be about 2 hours in between events. We assume that the ceremony will run for roughly 60-90 minutes, ending between 3:30-4PM. Cocktail hour will begin at 6pm at Watermill Caterers in Smithtown about 30-45 minutes from the church.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the wedding ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special time.
