FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is cocktail attire. The celebration will be held outdoors in a garden setting, so think formal garden party/cocktail attire. Texas weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend checking the forecast as the day approaches and planning accordingly.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate all guests with children with the exception of a few family members. Please only bring those formally invited on your invitation. The ceremony itself will be adults-only. For those bringing children, there are areas outside of the Japanese Garden where they may wait during the ceremony. Children are welcome to join us once cocktail hour begins.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes! Parking will be available at 3220 West Fwy Fort Worth, TX which is about a 5-minute walk to the venue. This parking lot is located next to the antique mall and can be a bit confusing—please be sure you are parked in the designated Botanical Garden lot marked with a sign for the West Entrance. When navigating, be sure to route to the address above. If you route to the Fort Worth Japanese Gardens, you may be directed to parking that requires a much longer walk. Please note that parking in the antique mall spaces is not permitted and vehicles parked there may be towed. There will be signs posted to guide you from the parking lot into the ceremony and reception space.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM. Given the walk from parking as well as the TCU game happening nearby, we recommend planning to arrive by 4:00 PM to allow ample time to arrive, park and make your way to the ceremony space. Walkways leading to the ceremony will be closed at 4:25 and no late entry will be permitted.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We kindly request all guests refrain from using their phones during the ceremony.
