Rochester International airport is the closest, and the Rochester Air Show is the same weekend so you could enjoy that as well. Buffalo and Syracuse also have airports and are each 1h15min drive. There usually isn't any traffic.

Here is a list of some airbnbs nearby. Some are smaller for a few people and some are much larger for several to ~20 quests if people want to join together for a larger place. There are some great places on the water, but are also more options in downtown Rochester, but that will be about 30 min north of the venue (although no traffic), so these places are all closer. Geneseo and Avon are great towns to look in.
