FAQs

The Wedding Website of Annamaria Licandro and Nicholas Serra
To make things simple, we’ve answered some of the most common questions about our wedding day. Still wondering about something? Reach out to Annamaria at 613-266-1585—she’s got all the details!
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress - our wedding is formal attire! We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing light blue, as this is the colour of the bridesmaids' dresses. Thank you!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at the church about 20–30 minutes before the ceremony begins to ensure you’re seated on time.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Our wedding day will be filled with love, laughter, and our closest friends and family! All invited guests are listed on your invitation, and if a plus one is included, their name will be there—ready to join the festivities with you.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Yes! Our little friends are welcome to join the celebration. If your child is invited, you’ll see their name on the invitation.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

At the Church: St. Anthony of Padua Church in Ottawa offers parking for visitors, accessible from Lebreton Street. The driveway is located to the right of 178 Lebreton Street. Please note that parking is limited, and if the lot is full, nearby side streets are also an option. At the Reception: Preston Event Centre provides free parking at the back of the venue, though spaces are limited. If the lot is full, additional parking is available across Preston Street at the Adult High School (297 Preston St), accessible via the entrance at 301 Preston Street.

Question

What should I do between the ceremony and cocktail hour?

Answer

We have a little break between "I do" and the party (about an hour and a half). Think of it as bonus time! You can head home or back to your accommodations to freshen up, or wander over to Preston Street - there are plenty of great spots to grab a bite or a drink before cocktail hour kicks off.
