FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We invite guests to dress in formal evening attire. Tuxedos and floor-length gowns are welcome but not required—dark suits with ties and elegant cocktail or long dresses are also perfectly appropriate.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests arrive around 4:30 PM to allow time to be seated so our ceremony may begin promptly at 5:00 PM.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is ample parking near Daniel Chapel on Furman’s campus, and signs will guide you to the appropriate areas. At the reception, valet parking will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, with additional parking garages conveniently located nearby.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation - we kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend due to the limited capacity at our venues!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only celebration - unless otherwise noted on your invitation!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes -- All are welcome to attend our Welcome Party on Friday night at Saskatoon Lodge from 9pm-11pm. We hope to see you there to celebrate! Additionally, the newly weds will be traveling to Ireland in December with their family and bridal party to keep the celebration going and ring in the New Year surrounded by Irish family & friends. We welcome anyone who is interested in joining us to reach out to the bride or groom directly! Although we can provide suggestions on where to stay and how to travel...accommodations and flights will need to be arranged independently! Please refer to the Travel tab for more information.
