What are the attire recommendations and guidelines?

Answer

This event is garden party formal (semi formal, not black tie, suitable for outdoors in the fall). Feel free to dress to our theme, magical forest - think elves, toadstools, and moss. As long as the weather is kind to us, the ceremony will be outside on grass, please keep this in mind when choosing footwear. Wear what makes you feel magical! That includes modern formal dress suitable for fall weather and full fantasy ren faire outfits (or anywhere between the two). Children are allowed to come as hobbits, gnomes, fairies, woodland creatures, and the like. We ask that guests please do not wear the following: - Weapons (even fake ones) - Metal plate armor - Full suits of any type of armor - Full fursuits or any full head/face covering (helmets, masks, etc) - Headwear that is more than 1 foot wide (headwear can be tall, but must be able to be removed for the ceremony) - Anything that is not kid-friendly, as children will be present

Where should we stay?

Check out the "Travel" tab for our hotel blocks! There are quite a few options around the venue, we recommend booking ahead of time as there are other events happening that weekend in town.

Is the venue accessible?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony is in a flat outdoor area with access for vehicle drop off. The reception has a covered vehicle drop off point (should there be inclement weather) with no stairs. We will have microphones and a sound system for the ceremony and reception to make sure the proceedings are audible. Indoor bathrooms will be available to guests throughout the evening.
