FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. We recommend arriving by 5:15 PM to allow time for parking and walking to "A Woman’s Garden" located inside the Dallas Arboretum.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Complimentary parking is available for the ceremony at the Dallas Arboretum. Please pre-register your license plate before arriving to avoid receiving a parking citation: https://www.offstreet.io/events/VTZRV9QJ After the ceremony, we'll be celebrating at a separate reception venue. If you plan to use Uber, Lyft, or another rideshare service, we recommend scheduling this transportation between the two locations in advance so you can arrive in time to enjoy cocktail hour.

What is the attire?

Our wedding attire is cocktail attire. We encourage guests to dress in semi-formal attire that feels polished yet comfortable for an outdoor ceremony and evening reception. Question

What color are the bridesmaids wearing?

Answer

The bridesmaids will be wearing espresso brown dresses.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation lists a guest, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate wedding with close family and friends.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras put away during the ceremony and be fully present with us in the moment. Our photographer will be capturing everything, and we'd love for you to enjoy the celebration device-free. Feel free to take photos once the ceremony concludes!

Question

Tell me about the Welcome Party!

Answer

Everyone is invited! Join us the evening before the wedding at Catbird in Downtown Dallas for drinks, conversation, and a chance to celebrate together before the big day. Attire is dressy casual. We recommend something polished yet comfortable for an evening out.
