FAQs

Question

Is there an RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please reach out to the bride and groom if you have any questions or last minute changes!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We will be staying at the Aertson Hotel and would love for you to stay there with us! Otherwise, Nashville has many options for hotels and Air BNB.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail attire. We invite guests to lean into the garden party setting when choosing their outfit. Keep in mind August in Nashville is quite warm, so light fabrics are encouraged. Lastly, we know there are many cowboy themed events/venues in Nashville. Our wedding is not one of them, please refrain from wearing cowboy boots or hats to this event.*

Question

What should I wear to the welcome party?

Answer

Come as you are! (Jeans are more than okay). Bring your luggage. Stop by for some food, drink, speeches, and to say hi to the bride and groom as you get into town. *If you feel particularly inclined to wear cowboy attire, this would be the time to do it.

Question

Can I bring a plus one? Are my children invited?

Answer

Due to venue restrictions, we ask that only invited guests attend the wedding. Each guest will be named on the invitation. If you have any questions about who is invited, please reach out. We have chosen to keep this wedding adults only. Babies under 1 year old are welcome to attend, but we ask that they hang out inside during the ceremony.

Question

How long should I stay?

Answer

We will be staying in town through Sunday 8/9 and would love to hang out after the wedding! There is lots to explore in Nashville on Broadway and beyond. Check out the Things To Do page for the bride and groom's favorite spots around the city.

Question

How should I get to the venue?

Answer

A trolley will pick guests up at the Aertson Hotel before the ceremony and bring them to the venue. After the receptions it will make stops on lower Broadway and the hotel. Please see the Travel page for shuttle timing and details. If you are not staying near the Aertson Hotel, you will have no problem getting Ubers and Lyfts in Nashville. There is street parking around the venue.
