The ceremony will be held on the beach near Hotel Xcaret, with the ocean as our backdrop. Afterward, we’ll continue the celebration at a nearby reception venue within Hotel Xcaret, just a short walk away, so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.

What is the weather like in Cancun in February?

Answer

The weather is typically warm, sunny, and comfortable, with daytime temperatures around the low 80s°F and cooler evenings in the low 70s°F. We recommend packing light, breathable clothing, sunscreen, and a light layer for the evenings.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors so we can enjoy the beautiful setting. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we have an indoor backup option ready.

Our wedding will be beach formal—elegant but relaxed. Think flowy dresses, linen shirts, lightweight suits, and comfortable shoes for the sand.

Can I bring a plus one?

While we would love to celebrate with everyone’s plus one, we are unfortunately limited by space. Invitations are reserved for the guests listed on the invitation.

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. Children are limited to immediate family. Thank you so much for understanding!

Is Cancun, Mexico safe for travelers?

Answer

Yes! Cancun is a popular tourist destination with millions of visitors every year. The main hotel and resort areas, including Hotel Xcaret and nearby beaches, are well-patrolled, secure, and very safe for travelers. As with any destination, it’s always a good idea to take standard precautions: avoid isolated areas at night, keep your belongings secure, and follow local guidelines.
