Chattanooga is on the Eastern time zone, however the venue is Central time. The ceremony will take place at 12:30 CDT which will be 1:30 EST. So if you leave the venue at 4pm CDT it will actually be 5pm EST. If you are staying at a hotel in the EST timezone and are an hour away, you can leave at 12:20 and arrive at 12:20. It hurts my brain to write this.
Chattanooga has a large homeless population, they aren't violent but they do like to walk around and check car doors to see if they're open. They're looking for money usually but I would take anything valuable with you just in case!
YES! The places I have put in "things to do" are safe places to walk around. That being said, there are areas of the city that are not ideal for walking late at night, so if you have a question about an area, just contact bride or groom:)
It is likely that it will be around 10-30 degrees. There is a high chance of snow on at least one day. At the venue the weather may be a few degrees colder. Mornings and evenings have lower temperatures.
Yes. There is ample parking.
Mountain willow manor Is a beautiful manor and barn that sits on the top of Signal Mountain. Because it is on a mountain, some roads are windy, unpaved and steep. There is a chance the roads could be a little snowy, rainy and therefore slippery. The reception ends at 4:30 so people can have enough time to get down the mountain before dark. We strongly recommend having a designated driver and carpooling. AND DRAMAMINE!
If you not able to rent a car, contact Annalise or Dante; we can try to find you a car to drive you up and down the mountain.
Most importantly, dress for the weather. The dress code is semi-formal, or formal. Cowboy boots encouraged. The color palette for the wedding is posted in the gallery. If you would like to coordinate its encouraged but not required:)
