Arrival Times

The wedding events will take place on the island of Hvar, Croatia, accessible only by ferry from Split. You can arrive to the island anytime from Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday afternoon, but planned activities begin Wednesday afternoon. If you arrive Tuesday, the villa will be available, but nothing official is scheduled. If flying into Split on Wednesday, we recommend landing by noon to catch the 2:30 PM ferry to Stari Grad. A later ferry runs at 8:30 PM if needed. Split is the best airport option, though you can also fly into Dubrovnik if planning to visit—it’s about a 2.5-hour drive to Split. An RSVP link will be sent later to confirm your flight and help coordinate ferry transfers. We’ll arrange transport from the port to the villa. Planned Wedding Events

We are arranging for most events from Wednesday afternoon through Saturday evening. This will include arranging for activities, relaxing time, and most meals!

Wedding

3:00 pm - 10:30 pm

This event is Mediterranean formal, examples are long dresses in cotton or linen, a button down and tie, or light-colored suit. The ceremony will be outside near the coast and the reception will be outside as well.

The wedding event will be on the afternoon of September 26th. The ceremony will take place nearby, followed by dinner and reception at the Villa.

Departure

5:00 am - 10:00 am

If you are flying out on Sunday, we recommend ensuring your fight out of Split leaves no earlier than 10:00 am on Sunday since you will need to take a ferry back to the main land. The earliest ferry leaves at 5:30 am (from Stari Grad) and arrives in Split at 7:20 am, after which you need to get to the airport. We will need to check out of the villas by 10 am.
