In 10th grade, Addison made it his mission to take me on a date, and after two years of attempts, I finally agreed our senior year to let him take me on a date. We continued to grow in our friendship until one evening after a CHCS Jv football game, Addison walked me to my car. I don't think I made it out of Lexington and received a text message that Addison wanted me to meet his Family. On August 18th of 2018, I was on my way home from meeting the Ray's and had a traumatic car accident breaking both of my legs. There is not much I recall from that evening, but one memory I will never forget is Addison holding my hand through the back windshield and reminding me that he was not leaving my side. A promise that was made then is the same promise we will make to one another on March 7th of 2026. We have been so blessed by God's faithfulness in our relationship and cannot wait to begin our lives together! Rejoice in Hope, Be Patient in Affliction, Be Faithful in Prayer. Romans 12:12
