The Wedding Website of Anna Vecchio and Joshua Kancherlapalli
We are so excited to celebrate with you in Tuscany! Below is everything you need to know to plan your trip for our wedding at Villa La Selva. Welcome Party: May 31, 2027 Wedding Day: June 1, 2027 Pool Party: June 2, 2027 We recommend arriving no later than May 30th to settle in and enjoy the celebrations. Passports & Entry Requirements: Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after travel. U.S. travelers currently only need a valid passport to enter Italy. If traveling through other countries, please check their entry requirements. We recommend booking your flights 6–9 months in advance (or earlier if possible), as late spring is a popular time to travel to Italy. Booking early will give you the best selection of flights and pricing.

Getting There

Our wedding will take place at beautiful Villa La Selva in the Tuscan countryside, about halfway between Florence and Siena. Below are the best airport options depending on your travel plans: Florence (FLR): ~1 hour away The closest airport to fly into! Best for convenience and shortest travel after landing. Florence is the perfect option to get you straight to wine country and has connections from most major European cities. Flying into Florence requires that you make a connection in another European airport. If you choose this option, make sure that your connection has at least two hours between arrival and departure. Rome (FCO): ~2.5 hours away A great option for nonstop international flights and major airlines. The airport is about 30 minutes away from Rome's city center and train station. From Rome, you can take a high-speed train to Florence, followed by a short drive to the venue. Milan Airport (MXP) ~3.5 hours away Often the most affordable flights and ideal if you plan to explore Northern Italy before or after! The airport is about 45 minutes away from Milan's city center and train station.

Travel Note

Getting to Villa La Selva

The easiest ways to reach the venue: Private car transfer (recommended) Rental car (great for exploring Tuscany) Train to Florence + car transfer If you’re planning to explore the region, we highly recommend setting up a private car transfer or renting a car. Please note that an International Driver’s Permit (IDP) is required to drive in Italy. Private drivers are widely available and great for group travel! More detailed travel recommendations will be shared closer to the wedding.

This is where all three events of the weekend will take place. While we wish we could have everyone stay together, space is limited so we can only accommodate some of our guests here. Additional accommodation details and recommendations will be shared soon, including nearby options that we’ll be providing transportation to and from for all events. If you choose to stay elsewhere, we recommend renting a car or booking a driving service, as we won’t be able to provide individualized transportation.
