FAQs

If you have any other questions that what we've listed below please contact the Bride or Groom.
Question

When can I RSVP?

Answer

We’re not quite ready to open RSVPs yet. Formal invitations will come via mail closer to the wedding date. If you already know you can’t make it, please give us a heads up!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have chosen to make our wedding an adults-only event.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation was addressed to you and a guest then yes! If your invitation was only addressed to you then we were not able to offer you a plus one. Our venue is tight and there are so many important people in our lives who we want to celebrate with!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Welcome Party - Dine in Denim: Lean into "California Casual" and join us in your favorite denim. Canadian Tuxedos (denim on denim) encouraged! Wedding - Formal Attire: Suits for the gents and cocktail dresses or gowns for the gals. Bright colors encouraged.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes! Plenty of free parking available for our welcome party at The Crack Shack as well as the San Diego Botanic Garden, where both the ceremony & reception will be held.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please see the “Travel” tab and book within the room blocks provided.

Question

Why don’t you have a traditional wedding registry?

Answer

We feel incredibly blessed and well set up in our cozy California home, so we’ve chosen not to register for physical gifts. Your presence and love truly mean everything to us! If you were hoping to give, we’ve created just one registry item: our honeymoon fund for Japan. Contributions will help support the experiences that make the trip special including traditional Japanese tastes and treats, hotel stays, bucket-list adventures like onsen spas, origami classes, temple tours, bullet train rides, and tea tastings. We promise to think of you as we soak, sip, explore, and possibly eat our body weight in sushi!
