FAQs

Question

Can my children come to the wedding?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we respectfully request no children at our wedding celebrations. This will allow you to have a fun night off celebrating with us without worrying about little eyes and ears!

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request that you RSVP by August 26th, 2024.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately due to space, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is explicitly stated on your invitation.

Question

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Answer

You can RSVP directly on this website! No mailing is required! Go to the header that says RSVP and follow the prompts from there!

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outdoors with an indoor reception following, so dress accordingly for the unpredictable Nebraskan fall weather. In case of harsh weather on the day, a contingency plan has been made for the ceremony to be indoors.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding? Are there colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?

Answer

Semi-Formal We are recommend wearing "jewel tones". That includes emerald/forest green, teal, poppy red, magenta, chartreuse, and navy. However, we do not expect you to buy an entire ensemble for this- your presence is more important to us.

Question

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! The View in Fontenelle Hills has a spacious parking lot directly in front of the venue with accessible parking spaces available. Although the lot is large, we recommend carpooling to save space and allow you to let your hair down and get home safely! Our venue has also graciously allowed guests to park overnight if needed so that everyone can get home safely.

Question

Is the venue accessible for mobility aid devices?

Answer

Yes! Our venue has multiple accessible/handicapped parking spaces and an option for at-the-door dropoff. An elevator by the front door will be available to assist with the steps into the building. Our ceremony and reception will all be on the same floor as well.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at the wedding?

Answer

During the ceremony, we strongly request that you put your phones and cameras away to be with us as we celebrate our love. We have a professional photographer to capture this special moment for us. After the ceremony, ABSOLUTELY. Please take as many photos as you want to commemorate this amazing time and how nice you all will look!

Question

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes! We will have a buffet-style dinner with multiple options available. For any special concerns please contact us so we may find a way to accommodate your needs together!
