Hello, my name is Chris and I’ve known Joey since March of 1996, when Joey was born from my mothers womb and entered the Whang family. Yes, I am Joey’s older brother. As the elder Whang, I was the experimental child. Through trial and error with me, my parents raised Joey to be the greater Whang. Hence, Joey’s path was paved to be cooler, smarter, and funnier than I am. Yet he has failed. Still, it is his wedding day, and I am proud of him. May your marriage be bountiful. Anna, good luck.

Hi! My name is Courtney - or as the bride and groom like to joke - CourtYard. I spent 3 glorious years sleeping in the bed next to Anna and turning off her computer when she would fall asleep watching the office. Anna and I met through our mutual friend Cindy and bonded during our time in Dance 45 together. We continue to bond over our love of grey anatomy, baking, and honestly who knows what but this friendship is forever so, you’re also stuck with me forever Joey!! Anna and Court est 2014 ~ and the rest is history

Hi, my name is Brannon Cha, and I’m one of Joey’s friends from middle school! Joey and I have had many experiences together, but the main one that stands out is our getting trash duty for half a week because we were spitting at each other. And so defines our friendship — immature. In actuality, I’m so thankful that we can celebrate 15 years of friendship, filled with deep talks and foolish musings. I’m so happy to be able to be at your wedding and to continue walking alongside you as you embark on this new journey. CONGRATS my brother!

I'm Gary. Joey's the type of guy you hear about in high school and all you hear about him are sus things... turns out he's an awesome guy. My friendship with joey blossomed our sophomore year summer in college. We will never ever speak of those days again, but when we look into each others eyes, we know the pain and suffering that turned us from boys to men. Hi there! I'm Vanessa. I met Anna on the first day of UCSB Freshman Year. Since then, our friendship has blossomed to a beautiful 7 years consisting of many memories like taste testing all her baked goodies, walking miles on miles in NYC, and sneaking Zoey our boy cat into the SRB... (although she has still yet to figure out my day job)... You can probably find me at the wedding eating all the pastries or on the dance floor pretending to sing along to top 40s that I most likely don't know the lyrics to.

Hi! I’m Cindy, I first met Anna through a Christian ministry at UCSB. Honestly, I’m not sure if it was our mutual love for Jesus or the fact that we were basically the only Asians in the group that brought us together. Either way I’m thankful she came into my life, Most of all I’m thankful that she introduced me to the wonderful world of soon dubu. Don’t know what I’d do without it...I mean her. Can’t wait for all the new memories to come, starting with this wedding!! P.S. Joey - Good luck with Anna’s snoring cause I may not have shared a room with her but we shared a wall and I could definitely hear her through it :-)

Hey everybody, my name is Brian and you’re watching Disney Channel. I met Joey and Anna in college and was Joey’s roommate for 3 years. During those three years I woke up at 4, 5, and 6am everyday because of Joey’s alarms, but somehow he still became one of my closest friends. Now that Anna is going to be his forever roommate, I couldn’t be more excited and happy for the both of them. Joey couldn’t have asked for a better wife and Anna he’s just gonna have to do, LOL jk you got a good one. Love you guys, can’t wait for the wedding!

Joey and I met as freshmen at UCSB when we watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy with some college friends we had just met. I fell asleep somewhere in the middle of The Two Towers and was rudely awoken when I felt Joey laying on top of me. This was my introduction to Joey's... fun (uncomfortable) personality. Since then, Joey and I have had a very dramatic friendship: from almost having a fallout to doing missions, we've been through it all! Congratulations on your big day!
