Having known one another since years long ago, it was a fortunate stroke of serendipity when their paths crossed early 2023. Taking a chance, they reconnected on a little trip to Steinhatchee, Florida, after not seeing each other for 10 years. Ever since that trip Jackson and Anna Jo knew it was meant to be. Fun weekend trips turned to week long stays and realizing they couldn’t continue the long distance relationship. On the last week long stay together in the Bahamas, Jackson proposed to Anna Jo, moved back home the next week and started his new job in Bristol. They are thankful the perfect home became available in Hosford to begin their new life journey together as a family, with Anna Jo’s daughter, Elah, and of course the zoo of animals too. Their story is one that happened swiftly but they have never doubted their love for one another. Quite frankly, a true love story.
