The unfortunate answer is that guests will be traveling at their own risk. There is absolutely no obligation to attend, and we are more than understanding of guests who would like to stay home. Guests who choose to attend are encouraged to wear masks and practice social distancing, but knowing you all, I have a feeling the masks won't stay on for long. We encourage you to weigh the risks and make the best decision for yourself and your family.
The ceremony will be held within a Catholic Mass, which is typically about an hour long, plus another 30 minutes with the vows and processions. If you are not a baptized Catholic, we kindly ask that you do not receive communion. Please feel free to process through the communion line, but cross your arms across your chest at the alter and you will receive a blessing instead. Thank you for being understanding!
Yeah... We love our FSU, but they kinda screwed us at the last minute by changing their football schedule. There will be a Clemson v. FSU football game at Doak Campbell Stadium, which won't be a problem unless you're trying to book a hotel from out of town. Unfortunately the hotel prices will be increased during that weekend, so we advise out of town guests to book a hotel as soon as possible, or try to acquire an Air B&B. And (yes dad, I'm looking at you) if the football game happens to be on during the reception, we will try to stream it during the cocktail hour. We know how you Tally natives feel about your religion.
Yes please.
October 19th, if you don't mind.
Target. Amazon. Bed Bath & Beyond. Gift cards anywhere. Re-gifting. We are very thankful for whatever you would like to donate to our adult life, including your presence at our wedding!
Yes! We love kids. The reception will be very kid-friendly. We will be serving them Chick-Fil-A and there will be a playground and special play room, as well as some babysitters to watch them so adults can play, too! Consider bringing play-clothes for them to change into and their favorite toys and games.
Great question. We don't have any special transportation, so guests will either need a rental car, Uber, or carpool with a friend! But not to worry, our guests are very friendly and would love to give you a lift!
Semi-formal, and appropriate for church, of course!
