Casual cocktail attire
Yes, but not as originally planned. We have canceled our ceremony and reception at Crag Rat Hut. We made this difficult decision in early May when the Oregon ban on large gatherings was extended through September. Instead, we are having a very small ceremony (mostly immediate family members) in West Linn.
We would love to be able to invite everyone from our original guest list, but we also want to do everything we can to keep everyone safe in the midst of COVID. That means we will have to limit our guest list to allow for adequate distancing within the space we have. We will be personally letting you know by early/mid July if you are invited to our small ceremony.
Annah had already made the invitations, and wanted all of our original guests to still receive one as a memento of our initial wedding plans. Along with the invitation, you should have received a separate notice stating our Hood River wedding at Crag Rat Hut was canceled. If you didn't receive this notice, we apologize!
We are having it in the backyard of our family friends' home in West Linn. For those who are attending, we will send you the address as the wedding gets closer (or you can ask for it earlier).
We are so excited to have you. We will be having both our ceremony and reception in the backyard - there is plenty of space for everyone to be as distant from each other as they feel comfortable. We also encourage you to bring a face mask to have on hand, although we don't expect you to wear this for the entire wedding, especially when eating and drinking. We are perfectly okay with whatever precautions each of you feels most comfortable with. We will be renting chairs for everyone to sit in during the ceremony and will aim to space these out as much as able. We will still be having a reception with wine, beer, dinner, and music - this will all also be outside.
