Through the Years

In middle school we had these fancy homeschool parties called "protocol dinners" where we learned manners. John David and I were seated at the same table, much to his delight.

Sometimes Anna Bret made the trek to TN for my high school football games. My dad never missed the chance to take our post game picture and we both secretly liked it.

We remained pals through college - JD and I took this selfie (a rarity) days before he went to study abroad. I made sure to look good that night. Feel free to tell JD what you think of his "flow."

After 10 years of liking each other, I finally had my shot at a first date with Anna Bret. I had one chance to impress before she started Fellows and luckily Ed Sheeran had us feeling some kinda way.

And then this was our view for.. a long time. Long distance wasn't easy, but we MADE IT! And now we we don't ever have to do it again. AB even made a LD playlist and is happy to share upon request.

Disclaimer: matching was unplanned. But everything else was planned to perfection! I had NO idea when JD took my friends and me on the WP boat tour that it would end with a ring on my finger!
