Held each Labor Day weekend in Independence, Missouri, the SantaCaliGon Days Festival is a lively celebration of the city’s historic role as the starting point for the Santa Fe, California, and Oregon Trails. Spanning several downtown blocks, the festival features hundreds of craft and artisan booths, food vendors serving everything from funnel cakes to BBQ, live music on multiple stages, a carnival midway, and a variety of family-friendly activities.
