We are thrilled to share with you a few of the many fun things to do and places to see while you're in Asheville! Thirsty? Asheville is lovingly referred to as Beer City, as there are 30 breweries in the city. Our favs: Wicked Weed, Green Man, Funkatorium, Zillicoah & New Belgium. Looking for beauty? The Blue Ridge Mountains are the gorgeous background to our lovely city. Take the short drive up to the Parkway to take in all the views on a leisurely drive or find a trail to hike or a patch of grass at a Lookout for a picnic! Want to be impressed? Asheville's most famous residence is Biltmore. America's largest house offers daily tours and there are 8000 acres on the estate to explore on bike or horseback. Adventurous? Spend half a day on the French Broad River! French Broad Outfitters can set you up with everything you need to kayak or tube! Feeling artsy? Stroll through the River Arts District or visit the Asheville Art Museum downtown! Sweet tooth? Tour FBC!
