Pacific Surfliner Train
If you are already in Southern California, the Pacific Surfliner Amtrak train is a great alternative to driving. It runs from San Luis Obispo to Downtown San Deigo and stops right next to Old Town, walking distance to the Cosmopolitan and surrounding hotels. You can hop on in Grover Beach, Chatsworth, Burbank, Union Station (DTLA), or another station near you. See the map on the Amtrak website for more information.

San Diego International Airport
The San Diego Airport is 3.7 miles away from Old Town and accessible by shuttle, a 10-15 minute car ride, or a 25 minute bus ride.

Shuttles from the Airport
There is a shuttle from the San Diego Airport that runs between San Diego International Airport and the Old Town Transit Center daily from 4:45 a.m. – 12:30 a.m.
