The pandemic took so much from everyone but we both gained one of the most important people in our lives. It was September 24, 2021 students and teachers were back in school. Annabel was allowed to come back after a week of having COVID. Lucas' co teacher was out due to herself and family having COVID. Annabel saw there was sub position open for P.E. and thought to herself "What an easy way to make $25 on a Friday." Annabel walks down to the main gym and that's where she met Lucas Barbe. Lucas introduces himself to her and he thought to himself "How am I going to impress her?!? Ah! Let me tell her my WHOLE life story." Lucas proceeds to tell Annabel his life story from where he grew up to how he got the job at Independence High School in August 2021. It was a LONG 90 minute block. It obviously worked because 5 years later we are getting MARRIED!! :)
