Flight
Rafael Hernández International Airport (BQN), located in Aguadilla, is the recommended airport for your trip. There are four airlines with flights to and from Aguadilla: Frontier Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Spirit Airlines and United Airlines. Direct flights to BQN are offered from JFK, EWR, and others, but not PHL. Puerto Rico flights in Aguadilla usually fly in around midnight. I would contact your hotel or Airbnb to let them know what time you will be arriving. The drive from Aguadilla is about 30 minutes to our destination in Rincón.
Flight
Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU), located in San Juan, is around 2 hours and 45 minutes away from Rincon, but has more times and airlines coming in and out. Direct flights to SJU are offered from PHL and many more. If you have never been to Puerto Rico and want to explore more towns like Old San Juan, this would be a good option. The drive to Rincon is very scenic.
House Or Rental
We recommend renting a house within walking distance to Sandy Beach. Rincon is quite hilly so the closer the better. Don't hesitate to ask us if your rental is in a reasonable location. A lively, boutique hotel and restaurant directly on the water. The hotel is comprised of 9 rooms, and is also the site of the wedding ceremony and reception, as well as, brunch the next day. On the wedding night, it will be noisy until midnight.

Tamboo Hotel and Restaurant has a small set of boutique rooms and apartments right on the beach, a 5 minute walk down the road (or beach) from the main venue, Casa Islena. This location is a popular spot to relax and watch the local surfing community from the upper restaurant deck, or relax on the large stretch of beach. Their rooms have island flair and are very popular - so don't wait too long to book!
Hotel
Casa Verde is a nice hotel in the area with wonderful reviews. There is a larger selection of rooms, and more affordable prices. The bar Big Kahuna is next door so it can be noisy until 2 am on weekends. The hotel is about a 6 min walk from Casa Islena. It is not on the ocean side, but has a pretty courtyard pool and options for ocean view rooms. There is also more flexibility if you would like to split a suite with other guests.
