FAQs

If you have any questions that are not explicitly answered on this page, please feel free to reach out to Annabel or John directly for further clarification.
Question

Will I be given a "plus-one"? Can I bring a date?

Answer

No. We wish we could extend an offer for our unmarried friends and family to invite the special someone in their lives, but at this time, only guests explicitly invited on the received invitation will be permitted to attend.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love the kiddos in our lives and are very happy to say that guests of all ages are welcome! It wouldn't be the same without you!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that our guests opt for cocktail attire. This might mean a midi- or maxi-length dress, or a button-down shirt with slacks. Suit jackets are optional and by no means required. We also ask that our female guests refrain from wearing white. When choosing attire, remember that this is a summer wedding in Florida- bear in mind that we will likely be facing high humidity and temperatures in the 90s. Dress accordingly- I know we will!

Question

Is there parking available? How do I get to the venue?

Answer

For guests who will be driving in, or renting cars, there will be complimentary parking available at The Grand Floridian for the ceremony and reception. For guests who will be staying on Disney property, there are a number of options for getting to The Grand Floridian. Disney's complimentary bus system will take you from any resort to a number of locations, primarily the theme parks and Disney Springs. While it will require transferring to another bus to get to The Grand Floridian, this is the best option. However, if you are staying at a monorail resort, The Grand Floridian is on the resort route, which does not require a transfer. This is also the best way to get between The Grand Floridian and Magic Kingdom. Otherwise, Uber and Lyft are viable options.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! We know how difficult it can be to navigate special events with a dietary restriction and want to ensure that our guests have the best possible experience. Disney's Food and Beverage staff take dietary restrictions very seriously and will work closely with us to ensure that all of our guests are able to enjoy lunch.
