We met as 21 year-olds by chance (or fate) when Zach happened to be in the area for a convention and Anna attended college at the University of Toledo. We went on several dates, trading who would plan the date each time. We discovered just how much we had in common and grew closer the more time we spent together. Zach, who still lived in Michigan at the time, would hand-write love letters sealed with wax to mail to Anna. We soon made things official and then proceeded to spend the next 8 years together making memories and achieving milestones in our lives. In 2019, we lost Zach's mom and eventually both of his grandparents, who helped raise him. In 2020, amidst the pandemic, we then bought our first house together. And then shortly thereafter, Zach proposed to Anna at the spot of one of our very first dates at Greenfield Village in Michigan. He gave Anna one more very special love letter, sealed with gold wax, and when she turned around he was on one knee with the ring of her dreams. We've kept every single love letter written from the past 8 years, and to this day Zach will still write little love letters to leave around the house, usually with flowers "just because". We've been through everything together, good times and bad, and always have each others' backs. We're best friends, lovers, and partners through and through. And we know each other more than the back of our own hands at this point. We can't wait to celebrate our Big Day with all of you, and we appreciate the roles everyone has played in our lives up to this point. You all mean a lot to us. We are thrilled to move on to the next phase of our lives as one big family!
