I swore UP AND DOWN I would NEVER date anyone I met at my job. Clearly did not stick to my word because that's exactly what happened. I remember Zachary sitting at one of the high top tables in a light blue polo shirt and khaki shorts waiting to be interviewed at Smokey Bones. After his interview was over I went straight to my General Manager and asked him whether “that guy" was hired. Thankfully, he was. Zachary's first day at Smokey Bones was around September of 2016. He would constantly ring in all of the drinks every bartender hates to make so I would always give him a hard time about it just to spark up conversation. I think he noticed because shortly after we started spending time together and now here we are!

I woke up that morning thinking today was a "girls day" with Elena and Julia. I went over and got my nails done with Julia (classic move before getting engaged but DID NOT cross my mind), went to the pool and lounged with her and Elena, and then went to change and get ready for our sunflower field insta pic photoshoot that we planned weeks ago! We get to the sunflower field and its gorgeous! We're walking up to find the perfect spot to take some pictures and Julia has Elena's phone and says "I'm gonna go take some selfies over here" - totally a Julia thing so I didn't think much of it. She's gone for a few minutes so Elena goes to find her. Next thing I know Julia has Ariana and tells her to walk towards me and is saying "READ HER SHIRT!". So i'm confused admiring my sweet baby trying to read her shirt which I realize says "Mommy will you marry my daddy?". I'm confused, out pops Zachary on one knee - random people are filming and screaming, Jack is taking pictures of us, and Mimi is there for moral support! He asked me the easiest question I've ever had to answer but was in such shock that I was frozen!! Eventually I said yes and we were one sweaty, happy family!
