The smiling bride for the day. I absolutely can't imagine not having these people in my life. This page represents so much of my heart. It means so much to me that everyone is going to help us celebrate our marriage! Everyone on this list has helped in more ways than one to make this day perfect. I love and appreciate you all.
William
Groom
I can't believe that I am getting married and that this woman agreed to marry me. No ladies and gentleman I did not trick her, she tells me that I actually won her heart. Never did I think that this day would come, or that it would come so soon in my life. I am so happy and overjoyed that Anna came into my life and that we have started to build a home with our cats together. Thank you all for helping us make this day super special. Also, if someone could pinch me and make sure this isn't a dream that would be helpful.
Kathy
Mother of the Groom
Kathy is William's mother and raised him with a love of books and nature. She taught William how to find the best deals at every yard sale and where to get all the best books. William shares her love of reading and her love of hiking. They also share a love of small creatures, as Kathy can always been found doting on her other son, Nikki. She has always been there to love and support William with every move even across state lines and welcome him with open arms when he decided to come back. Her intelligence and her love have helped to mold William into the man that he is today and he couldn't be more grateful.
Howard
Father of the Groom
William's father, the forever voice of logic and science. He helped William learn to take every situation in life with the most logical path forward as possible. He also helped to mold William's inquisitive mind and aid in his quest towards knowledge of the biological sciences. He also instilled in William a love for trees which helped to shape part of William's career path moving forward. Howard is a sound person to turn to for advice and also the perfect person to help try any baked goods that may make their way into his midst. William is grateful that his dad has always been there to help put life's puzzle pieces together and shape the picture that is his life.
Joan
Mother of the Bride
Joan is still the person that Anna goes to for any and all advice. Momma Joan to a lot of Anna's friends growing up. She LOVES laundry and you can often find her, when visiting her children, folding and putting away their laundry for fun. She likes to hike and is always there to be the sounding board for all of Anna's ideas good or bad. She is the heart of the family and her kids would do anything for her, just like she would always do for them.
Sol
Father of the Bride
He's rough around the edges, but honestly just a huge teddy bear. Like any good father he taught Anna how to be a good son. Without his never-ending support Anna would not have had all the opportunities to grow in her life. She inherited his love of lifting, which they do together every year at his favorite vacation spot, The Outer Banks. He is the backbone of the family and has stood behind each and every one of his children as they made their own life decisions. He has always been there to pick up the pieces when needed or find an extra car to give them when theirs hits a concrete post.
Daphne
Maid of Honor
Daphne was Anna's first friend in college. The ride or die of Freshman year, which continues to this day. If you want to know the juicy secrets from Anna's early years, Daphne knows them all, because she was there. Daphne is one of the most organized human beings on the planet and was super helpful in taking her duties as the Maid of Honor seriously. When she's not planning weddings, or taking work calls, she can be found snuggling with her doggo Henry or relaxing with her main man Lucas. There are so many memories and love in their friendship. She's a shining star and has always been a beacon of trust. No matter what Daphne is always there to be shoulder to cry on or a vent to take away frustration. Good friends are like bras after all, they are always there to hold you up.
Hugh
Best Man
From the time William was a young boy Hugh has always been his closest friend. Hugh and William share an absolute LOVE of legos evidenced by their literal rooms devoted to the tiny plastic building blocks. They also share a love of history and can be found sitting around in the backyard discussing these facts like two little old man historians. They share a love of video games and have always been able to reconnect when they're far away from each other with a little Age of Mythology or Endless Legends. Hugh played a major part in William's life and continues to be a constant source of friendship and endless source of historical facts.
Amy
Bridesmaid
Amy is Anna's younger sister, who is completely the opposite of Anna. Where Anna is rough around the edges, Amy is more refined and has also been a driving force in the planning process. She runs her own little small fashion reselling business and always makes time to give her opinion. She may live far away and they may not always get along, but Amy is still a huge part of Anna's life and they are first and foremost sisters. No matter what the two will always be there to support and love each other, through thick or thin. Blood does indeed run thicker than water with these two.
Alyssa
Bridesmaid
Alyssa, aka Canada from the great white north. She became Anna's friend soon into her Sophomore year of college at Susquehanna University. She introduced her to the wonderful world that is Canada where she and her family became more of real family than just friends. Here is another person that you can get many juicy college secrets from, but more than that, she has all the laughs. Alyssa spends her time teaching, running workout classes and spending time with her husband Jamie and their pupper Hank. Alyssa is quirky and has always been there for fun, laughs and good times. From drinks at Octoberfest to baseball houses and everything in between the pair has certainly made the greatest of memories. It doesn't matter how long it's been it's like no time has passed once the two are together.
Audrey
Bridesmaid
If Anna has a type, it is definitely Audrey. She has a solid head on her shoulders and Anna met her through their LARPing group. The friendship was a little slower to flourish, but they live to give each other confidence boosts. Fawning over their good looks and top notch fighting abilities. Audrey has two little fur kittens Butch and Virgil who rule the house with a sharpened claw. When Audrey isn't tending to her duties as a Unit leader or taking care of her students, she is could be found hiking, reading, or crafting any manner of LARP gear. She is a take charge and get things done kind of person and Anna admires the heck out of her for it. She's also compassionate and has been a source of many laughs, hugs and "my bois" through the years. She as fierce of a friend as she is a fighter.
Katie
Bridesmaid
Anna's oldest friend Katie. They met playing field hockey in high school together and running their own practices. You could find them either making the most of their time, talking to birds or contemplating the next song to jam to. Katie may not always be in the area, but when she returns it's like nothing has ever changed. From milking cows, to halter training to planting potatoes; they have always gotten into the most interesting shenanigans. Katie recently graduated vet school and when she is not working herself silly she likes to travel, hike, scuba dive and generally anything active outdoors. So much has changed in their lives but Katie has always been there to support the highest highs and the lowest lows. Distance keeps them apart physically but their friendship knows no bounds.
Kali
Bridesmaid
One of Anna's newest friends, she met Kali also through LARPing. Kali is one of Anna's more artistic friends and frequently posts Tik Toks and pictures of all of her creations across various social media platforms. Both Anna and Kali moved to the same neighborhood within weeks of one another and now spend their free time hanging out watching anime, drinking wine and playing video games. Their friendship may be new but it's solid. Kali enjoys playing video games and making beautiful works of art all while relaxing with her significant other Kyle, their rambunctious dog Chaser and their little floof mouse Mochi. To be fair (pauses for the Letterkenny fans) Kali is the person that Anna goes to just for someone to spend a quiet night with calming tea, baked goods and true friendship.
Maria
Bridesmaid
Maria is another more recent friend, but it was love at first sight when Anna met Maria. Anna knew instantly that she was going to love Maria and her personality. They just think on the same brain waves and Maria has proven to definitely be a ride or die kind of friend. Anna and Maria frequently spend their weekends either LARPing, playing DnD or just relaxing on the couch. They both share a love for fitness and root from the sidelines when they accomplish their goals. Maria enjoys the outdoors as well and spending time with her husband, their cat Flerken and their lovable oaf of a dog Spock. Tears of joy, pain, and love have been shared between the two and have forged a friendship that is going to last a lifetime.
Abigail
Groomswoman
When choosing people to be in the wedding William and Anna were having a discussion about where Abigail was going to fall. There was a literal discussion on who got to have her in their party, William won. Abigail is a newer close friend who came into the fold during a LARP practice. William and Abigail soon connected on their love for plants, nature, fluffy creatures (except for Levi, Abigail's dog, who doesn't appreciate William's beard), dinosaurs and memes. Abigail has grown to be a huge part in Anna and William's lives. She is a fount of knowledge about agriculture and how to keep most plants alive. Her green thumb and her large heart hold a special place in the lives of the happy couple.
Angela
Groomswoman
A friend from college, no her name is not Girl Face, though William tends to forget that. They met in Students About Living Truth, a Christian Club at PSU Altoona. They bonded through their swing dancing skills and love of video games. Her intelligence, love of animals and quiet patience are attributes that William and Anna both admire about her. Angela is a chemist and has the ability to add just the right solutes to this solvent of characters in the wedding party. Her and her husband Anthony enjoy spending time with their little fur babies and relaxing while Angela uses her creativity to crochet items for her Etsy store. She certainly is definitely the kind of friend that everyone hopes to have stand by you on your big day.
Karl
Groomsman
Knowing each other for over a decade, Will and Karl have spent most of that time involved in their high school Renaissance Faire and in their shared Larp Dagorhir. Fighting together has kept them close over the years, and the foes they have slain number in the thousands. Sharing a love of building, Karl and Will share too many projects, most related to constructing the gear they use fighting. Working together to put state college's TGI Fridays out of business, they turned their attention to DP dough which somehow was able to survive employing them. Outside of Larp, Karl enjoys fixing saxophones, reading medieval fantasy and science fiction, playing magic the gathering, and keeping his hands busy.
Hayden
Groomsman
Meeting freshmen year at Penn State Altoona, where they met during a Christian group, at which they became friends. Loving video games such as borderlands, and spending a lot of time together, they eventually the ended up sharing an exceptionally unclean apartment together at university park during most of their sophomore and senior year (Still got the damage deposit back). Born funny, Hayden and Will would have made an excellent traveling standup act, however neither remembers to write their jokes down. Also William totally called that he would end up with the woman who he now has a beautiful baby girl with, Sam Muth.
Kyle
Groomsman
In Philipsburg has its perks, such as getting to meet Kyle. William and Kyle met Larping and became friends through their love of making and having too many different projects. Enjoying video games and Magic the Gathering, Kyle is a general all around nerd and great person. Him and Will enjoy working on different crafts, particularly those related to dagorhir or cosplay, enjoying to create anything with their hands. Enjoying making mixed drinks, Kyle almost served as the bartender to this soiree, and is a welcome addition to the wedding party.
