It is a four minute (0.2 mile) walk from the church to the venue, they’re very close. The after party is also walkable from the reception (600 feet).
There are parking spaces around the green, as well as a lot on Railroad Street. The 3 hour parking limit ends at 5pm, so you'll be able to leave your car for the duration of the event.
On November 1, 2024 it was a beautiful 78 degree day with no rain, dropping to 50 at night. We're hoping for the same or better! The wedding will be indoors and climate-controlled, but bring a layer for when it comes time to leave the venue at night. If it rains, bring your umbrella for the walk from the church to 19 main.
There is a designated area to store coats and other belongings.
The Homestead Inn is located right on the green, walkable to the wedding events. They only have 15 rooms, once those are full guests should look at hotels in the Danbury area, or Airbnb options. We have a room block at the Hilton Garden Inn in Danbury, see our travel page for the custom booking link. Reserve your room by October 1st to take advantage of the discounted rate.

Yes, we will have a “limited open bar” with beer, wine, simple mixed drinks and signature cocktail options.
While there isn't an "official" afterparty, the bride and groom plan to head over to O'Connor's Public House for a drink after the wedding, the more the merrier!
For a casual Italian dinner check out Brickhouse Pizza (best for a quiet sit-down dinner), or Italia Mia (best for cocktails and appetizers). Both have great pizza! For a classic English pub head to the White Horse in New Preston. Other options include: Lucia (try the pistachio cake), Hacienda Don Manuel (for Mexican), or Yokohama (for sushi).
Yes, you should be able to get an uber or Lyft from the wedding to your hotel. We recommend scheduling your ride in advance if possible to guarantee availability (New Milford is a small town!)
