FAQs

The Wedding Website of Anna Rickman and Travis Westover
Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We ask all guests to kindly RSVP by September 27th, 2024.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire; including cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and jackets and slacks. All colors are permitted, however, we do not recommend high heels due to the ceremony location.

Question

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. We encourage guests to bring a warm layer, such as a jacket or shawl, as temperatures are expected to be between 65-55°F. Our reception dinner will be held indoors.

Question

Will transportation to the ceremony site be provided?

Answer

Due to our small guest count and the remote location of the ceremony site, there will not be any shuttle services.

Question

How do I get to the ceremony site?

Answer

From Bellingham, drive Highway 542 east, through the town of Glacier, and for another 21 miles to a fork in the road. Turn right, and Picture Lake will be on your left. The parking area is just past the Firs Lodge on the left side of the road. Please note that cell service is limited within the National Forest.

Question

Will chairs be provided during the ceremony?

Answer

Due to being within the National Forest, we are not permitted to bring seating to the ceremony site. We plan to keep the ceremony brief, but all attendees will be standing.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 pm PST. We recommend guests arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony start time.

Question

What is the weather typically like at the venue?

Answer

While we are hoping for clear skies, Washington can be very unpredictable in October. We ask that guests be prepared for the possibility of rain during the ceremony.

Question

Where should I stay/what hotels are available?

Answer

Lodging within an hour of the ceremony site can be found in the towns of Glacier, Warnick, Deming, or Bellingham. Chain hotel options are limited. We recommend using platforms such as AirBnB or Vrbo to locate accommodations.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Unfortunately, our venue has extremely limited capacity due to being on National Forest land. We kindly ask that you do not bring additional guests beyond those listed on your invite.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Due to the location of our ceremony, children are not permitted.

Question

Where is the reception dinner being held?

Answer

Our reception dinner will be held at a local restaurant in Bellingham. The address can be found below. The Black Cat 1200 Harris Ave STE 310 Bellingham, WA 98225

Question
