FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible. We recommend booking your flights and accommodations early, as prices increase during tourist season.

Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The wedding will be held at Anna’s childhood home in beautiful Eagle River, Alaska

Question

What time should we arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:00 PM sharp. We recommend arriving 15–30 minutes early to find parking and get settled.

Question

What is the wedding attire?

Answer

Semi Formal/dressy causal For the fellas: dress shirts and slacks—ties or jackets are welcome but not required. Please, no jeans. For the ladies: cocktail attire is perfect. Jumpsuits, midi, knee-length, or full-length dresses all work beautifully. COLOR is welcomed and encouraged!🎨🌷🌸🌼🪷🌻💐🍄🪺🌱

Question

Can I bring a Guest/ +1?

Answer

We’re keeping our guest list intimate, so unless we’ve talked to you directly about bringing a guest, we kindly ask that you come solo.

Question

Is the wedding outdoors or indoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors, but don’t worry—there will be a big tent to keep us all covered, rain or shine. We recommend dressing for the weather and bringing a light layer just in case it gets chilly!

Question

Are kids welcomed?

Answer

We adore your little ones, but due to space and planning, the wedding is an adults-only event. If your child(ren) is not listed on your invitation, please make prior arrangements for them and enjoy a date night with us!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, so we kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras away and be fully present with us. But feel free to snap away during cocktail hour and the reception—we’d love to see your memories!

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

We recommend renting a car if you’re flying in, as Eagle River is a bit outside of Anchorage and ride-shares can be limited, especially later in the evening.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available, but it’s limited. If you’re able to carpool with other guests, we’d really appreciate it!

Question

Is there a place to camp the night of the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Anna’s family has open property just down the road, and guests are welcome to camp there if they’d like. However, there is no electricity or running water. Please bring your own tent. 🏕️

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Please check out our Travel page for hotel recommendations. That said, we highly suggest looking at Airbnb or Vrbo—both are often more convenient and affordable in the area.

Question

Can I bring my pets?

Answer

No, only Mochi, our corgi, will be the only dog in attendance.
