We met back in March of 2024 last year at the youth ministry that we serve at North Highland Church. We got to know each other while serving together. About two months later TJ asked me to go to prom with him. We went to prom together and had a great time. During the summer TJ went home to Brunswick, GA to be with his family and we got to know each other through text messages.

Back in August 2024, TJ came back to Columbus, GA for school. I was definitely looking forward to seeing him again because I definitely missed him over the summer. On August 10th, my birthday, I got to spend the day with TJ. It was a great day, and that evening TJ surprised me by asking me to be his girlfriend. It was definitely the best birthday present ever. We definitely got to know each other more by going on several dates together. We definitely have had so many fun dates together, dinner dates, going on walks, shopping, getting ice cream, and going to the movies. We both have really grown in love with each other by spending so much time together.

This day was a very special day. TJ had told me that he wanted to something special with on May 5th, and immediately I thought that he was going to propose to me. As the day went on, I was thinking that maybe it was just going to be a normal day. Little did I know, TJ had a little surprise up his sleeve. We went on a walk in Old Town and when we got to the chapel, he gave a couple of gifts. After he gave the gifts his sister Tayla had something to show me, and he had told that he had to text someone. So, TJ walked behind me, and Tayla showed me the paper that wanted to show which said, "Anna say yes!" As soon as I saw the paper, I was completely surprised and shocked. When I turned around, TJ was on one knee with a ring and asked me if I would marry him. Of course, I said, "Yes!" I was just on cloud 9 after TJ proposed to me. I couldn't have asked for better day. May 5th, 2025 will definitely be a day that I will remember. TJ and I definitely feel like we're the one for each other. We're blessed that God is writing our story, and we're excited to start our next chapter as a married couple.
