via the 'RSVP' tab. there, you will be able to RSVP to various events and select your meal option. kindly RSVP by June 20.

how do I book my stay at Heath's Resort?

Answer

you can book your stay directly through our wedding website. on the 'Heath's Resort & Travel' tab, click "VIEW" under Heath's Resort Booking Link. this will bring you directly to a payment link, where you will remit payment for yourself, two guests, or a group (adjust the quantity as desired). once submitted, you'll receive email confirmation of your reservation. we will share cabin assignments as we get closer to the big day!

will my party have our own room?

Answer

yes, each party is expected to have their own room. there's a small possibility we may ask a few folks to share rooms with family or close friends depending on final RSVP's. if this is the case, we'll reach out to ensure comfortability before confirming room assignments, and will make any necessary adjustments from there.

how do I reserve a cabin with my friends or family?

Answer

due to the unique layout and varying capacity of each cabin, we will assign rooms once all RSVP's have been received and reservations made at Heath's (through the 'Heath's Resort & Travel' tab). Heath's has more than enough room for everyone invited to our wedding, providing us with wiggle room to ensure guests are grouped with family and friends, and everyone's comfortable with their cabin arrangements. we will be sending out room assignments in July as we get closer to the wedding and RSVP's are received. if you have any questions, concerns or need special accomodations, feel free to reach out to either of us !

what are the accomodations like?

Heath's offers 17 charming cabins scattered across the property, none exactly alike. each cabin has everything you'll need for a perfect weekend at the lake - a full kitchen, bed linens, a charcoal grill...even A/C! wifi is available, though spotty across the resort. for more info about Heath's, check out our "Heath's Resort & Travel" tab.

what should we plan on for meals during the weekend?

we've got you covered for dinner and drinks on Friday at the Welcome Party and Saturday night at our reception. for all remaining meals, we suggest picking up groceries and alcohol on your way to Heath's and making use of the kitchen and grill in your cabin. for lunch on Friday, all are welcome to join the wedding party for lunch at a local favorite, Moonlite Bay on Cross Lake, accessible by boat or car. - groceries & alcohol: your best bet would be in Pine River town center. - lunch spot: Shiner's (open from 11am-9pm) for additional dining options, check out the list of local and lakeside restaurants on Heath's website, under 'Activities'.

what's the weather like up north in august?

if we're lucky- warm summer days in the 70's or 80's and somewhat cool evenings. but like Colorado, the weather conditions are variable, so please pack accordingly (layers and options)! it wouldn't be the land of 10,000 lakes without some good ol' humidity...

what's the dress code?

Answer

for our big day, plan to celebrate and boogie in festive cocktail attire! say more? think somewhere between formal and casual (the cocktail part) with a playful, fun, celebratory spin (the festive part). for the rest of the weekend, dress as you please. for us, that will probably look like activewear, casual clothes, and swimsuits during the day, and sundresses, shorts, and button-downs at night.

- bed linens, bath towels, hand towels, dish soap, trash bags and toilet paper are provided in each cabin (contrary to Heath's website). -beach towels: if you're coming from Minnesota, please pack a beach towel if you can ! if you're flying in from out of state, there will be beach towels available at the front office.
