Question

What time zone is South Bend in?

Answer

For those of you not familiar with this area, South Bend is in the Eastern time zone! All of the events are listed in Eastern time.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! For the Welcome Event, please wear any kind of dressy summer attire. Keep in mind this will be an indoor/outdoor event. Men are welcome to pants, khaki shorts, nice polos, button ups, and blazer jackets. Women are welcome to wear any cocktail dress- long or short! For the wedding, we ask our guests to wear formal attire. We encourage women to wear midi to floor length gowns and men to wear suits or tuxes. The reception will be held mostly in a grass area, so women, please keep this in mind when choosing heels. Please do not wear any sort of casual attire such as, jeans or t-shirts.

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes! For those who would like to drive either to the ceremony or reception, you may park in the Student Center parking lot. Parking is allowed overnight as well. For guests staying in either hotel block, there will be a bus. Please see the "Travel" page for more details about this. Ubers and Lyfts are options too.

I'm not familiar with Saint Mary's. Is there a map?

Please refer to your invite and the RSVP form on the website as it will be listed "and Guest" if you have a plus one.

Absolutely! Please do when you RSVP.

Answer

Take the night off and leave the little ones at home! We politely request no children attend the ceremony and reception.
