There are many great places to stay while in Charleston. If you are looking for a classic weekend we recommend one of the lovely hotels in the downtown area walkable to bars and restaurants. If you are traveling with a group we suggest checking out some of the airbnbs on James Island, Folly Beach or West Ashley. If staying in these areas you might need a car if you are planing on staying for a couple of days.
