On the night after we got engaged, we agreed that our orcas island trip in summer 2019 is when we knew we loved each other.

We traveled around Orcas Island on an inflatable kayak because we were too cheap to rent a real one.

Thanks to a really nice sunset tour guide, we were able to catch a lift to our camping location. The sunset was beautiful!

Several months after our trip, one of Anna’s photos (taken in Yellowstone) was accepted into the Curfman gallery at CSU. We watched these elk escape a hungry wolf before disappearing into the fog.

Even though we had just started seeing each other, Anna attended Shea’s graduation from CSU. He earned a bachelor’s degrees in health and exercise science and microbiology.
