Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited. If you have received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding.
We love your little ones however our wedding is an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night for yourselves.
We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us. We are requesting black-tie optional attire for the evening. Men are encouraged to wear a tuxedo or suit, and women are encouraged to wear a long formal dress or a shorter cocktail dress. We ask that you avoid colours traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams. The bridesmaids will be wearing black.
Your presence is enough for us however if you wish to give a gift, we will gratefully accept a cash contribution towards our future together. There will be a card box on our welcome table during cocktail hour.
Please note that there is no parking provided by our venue. There are a variety of paid parking options located close to the venue should you choose to drive.
Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside in the venue's private courtyard, weather permitting. We will then be moving inside for dinner and dancing. Should the weather not cooperate, all of the wedding festivities will be held inside.
For the wedding ceremony, guests can choose their seat and can sit on whichever side of the wedding aisle that they would like. Upon entry into the dining room for dinner, please refer to the seating chart for your assigned seat.
We are having an unplugged ceremony. This just means that we are asking that all phones are on silent/turned off during the ceremony. We have hired two amazing professional photographers to capture our special day and we'd hate for their shots to have phones in them. You are welcome to take photos or videos during the recessional and throughout the evening after the ceremony is over.
We recommend that you arrive 15-30 minutes before our ceremony start time so that you can sign our guest book and find a seat. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm.
It is at the discretion of our venue staff whether they can seat you without causing a disturbance, but the likelihood is that you will be asked to wait outside until the ceremony is finished.
Our entire wedding celebration will be held on the main floor of George Restaurant in downtown Toronto. There are a few steps to enter the venue from the street but otherwise it is entirely wheelchair accessible. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held in the private courtyard, starting at 4pm. Please note that our dog Rocco will be present during cocktail hour. Following cocktail hour, guests will be invited inside into the main dining room for dinner, which will run from approximately 6-9pm. Guests will then be invited into an adjoining room for the dancing portion of the evening. The event will conclude at 1am.
