Is there a dress code for the restaurants at the Hotel?
Answer
The resort restaurants require appropriate dress attire depends on the time of the day and the type of restaurant. Here are the dress codes they have so you will have a best idea what to pack: Daytime Casual Bathing suit cover-ups or shorts and tops and sandals required. Resort Casual Bermudas (long shorts or Capri pants), sneakers/tennis shoes and sandals. Ladies must wear a bathing suit wrap or cover-up. No sleeveless shirts for men. Pool Casual Bathing suits allowed. Cover-up and sandals (or flip flops) preferred. Casual Bermudas (long shorts or Capri pants), sneakers/tennis shoes and sandals. Ladies must wear a bathing suit wrap or cover-up. No sleeveless shirts for men. Casual Elegance Sneakers/tennis shoes or dress sandals, dress shirts with short sleeves or collared shirts. What are the suggested travel dates?
Answer
We want nothing more than for our friends and family to enjoy their VACATION :) . Please feel free to arrive as early in advance as you'd like and stay at the resort for as long as you'd like. Enjoy yourself, and VACATION :)

When is the RSVP date?
Answer
We are asking for family and close friends to RSVP by booking your room with our travel agent before September 30th, 2022. By booking your room, you will be added to our reserved room block and group activities guestlist.

Do I have to book with Pamela Crate of Moon Gate Travel?
Answer
We highly recommend using our travel agent as it will help us to keep the entire group organized and included in our planned group activities as well as informed of logistics and frequent updates. We have a room block reserved at both Dreams (family friendly) and Secrets (adults only). The room block is set at a discounted rate so you’ll always pay less than the internet by booking within the block with Pamela.

What is the payment and cancellation policy?

* $300 per room non‐refundable deposit due at time of reservation, September 30th (plus cost of insurance if chosen) * Second Deposit - 50% of your total reservation cost is due on or before November 1, 2022 * January 3, 2023 - Final Payment Due Date. When should I book my flight? What is the best way to find good flight deals?
Answer
We suggest that each guest book their flights sooner rather than later. The later guests wait to book their flights, the higher the risk for future cancellation or flight price increases. We suggest setting up flight alerts. Our favorite is Google flights because it includes a wider range of airlines. Use search engines to find the best deal, but remember to book the flight itself directly via the airline to maximize your flexibility if your plans were to change.

When searching for flights, the airport you are flying to is Cancun International Airport (CUN).

Should I purchase travel protection?
Answer
We recommend booking travel protection along with your itinerary from our travel agent. If you are looking for independent, outside coverage that is purchased separately, please do your research and book with any trusted travel protection provider as soon as possible. Cancellation fees are non-refundable, except through qualified travel protection reimbursements.

Q. Does Mexico charge any mandatory governmental fees?
Answer
Several Municipalities in Cancun, Riviera Maya and Isla Mujeres have enacted an Environmental Tax to help maintain beaches and ecosystems. This tax is not included in any packages and therefore may be assessed directly by the hotel upon check out. The cost of the tax is approximately $1.30 USD, per night, per room. There is also a new Cancun Tourism Tax: Effective April 1, 2021, arriving international visitors to the Cancun (CUN) airport will be required to pay $11 for the privilege of visiting Cancun and surrounding areas.

Do I need to have my passport prior to making my deposit for the trip?
Answer
Passports are required at the time of travel. As long as you provide our travel agent, Pamela, with your full legal name, you can arrange travel in advance. Instructions to apply for passports can be found here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/need-passport/apply-in-person.html Please allow 8-12 weeks for standard passport applications to process following your scheduled appointment with a passport "acceptance facility" https://iafdb.travel.state.gov/ If you do not obtain your passport prior to travel, you are responsible for any associated cancellation fees.

Q. What are the COVID-19 guidelines for entry and return to the US?

Unfortunately, regulation guidelines change very frequently. We will keep the group posted of any and all updates as it relates to the latest COVID-19 entry and exit requirements when it is closer to travel.
