Anna: Pete and I met at Providence College. I first remember meeting him sophomore year because we were in the same Civ class and shared a lot of mutual friends. We weren’t close friends by any means, but we would always say hi if we ran into each other. I remember thinking he seemed like a nice guy. It wasn’t until March of our senior year, just before the pandemic, that Pete and I became closer, and he asked me to be his girlfriend on March 28, 2020. I was so excited! Starting our relationship in a pandemic had its challenges, but we made a lot of great memories during the last few months of school and throughout the summer. Pete moved down south for work, and I enjoyed visiting him over the following year as our relationship grew stronger. As fun as it was to visit, I was excited for him to come home. We moved to Dorchester together and adopted our cat, Chappie. We love our apartment and neighborhood and look forward to celebrating with you just minutes up the road on September 20th, 2025! Peter: After two years of walking past Anna at Providence College, spring of Senior year I finally decided to make a move. Two years? Yes, I know, way too long. It was the peak of lockdown, so I had to get creative with ways to get to know her, like making up reasons to pick her up from the airport and impressing her with my cooking skills (including a carbonara that may or may not have caused food poisoning). I knew right away she was the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with! Our relationship took off and gets more amazing every day. I am so excited for our wedding and getting to share our joy with all of our friends and family.
